Things I Learned at Job #32.

Faking enthusiasm never fails to deliver positive results. Sadly.

I've been a bit MIA this week due to the fact that I started a new job. You know, number 32? I'm waiting tables yet again and last night was our grand opening.

Things I learned at my new job:

  1. Restaurant owners love it when their employees say things like "Kicking ass and taking names." Said owners will not notice the tongue-in-cheek tone of said statements. Owner will then offer those employees high-fives and compliment their performance.
  2. Restaurant managers who are shorter than you look comical with crayons behind their ears.
  3. Butt jokes on your first day at work are only funny to you.

I've also been extremely busy finishing the second draft of my latest novel. Yay, me!

Now that I'm done with that, I can focus on wrapping up my Telecommuting Series, so check in next week when I discuss expectations on working from home.
